We answer as quickly as we can, usually within a couple of days. You can also use Settings → Send Feedback inside the app, which attaches your device and app version automatically.
What to include
These four lines usually turn a two-week thread into one reply:
- Your device and iOS version — for example, iPhone 15, iOS 18.5.
- The Sukoon version, from Settings at the bottom of the screen.
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
- A screenshot or screen recording, if the problem is something you can see.
Fix it yourself in a minute
Blocks aren't happening at all
Sukoon can only guard apps through Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) permission. Open iOS Settings → Screen Time and check it is on, then open Sukoon and make sure the permission was granted — the My Apps screen shows Screen Time on when it is. If you denied it earlier, iOS will not ask twice; toggle Screen Time off and on in iOS Settings, then reopen Sukoon.
An app I blocked still opens
Check which list it is in. Always Allowed apps are never blocked, by design — that is where maps and family chat belong. Also check that a schedule is actually running: a schedule only guards its apps inside its own window, so a Bedtime block from 22:00 does nothing at 15:00.
Prayer times look wrong
Prayer times are calculated on your device from your location, so first grant location permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Sukoon. If times are still off by a few minutes from your local masjid, change the calculation method in Sukoon's prayer settings — different regions follow different conventions.
My apps stayed locked after I prayed
The prayer block lifts when you confirm it, not on a timer — that is deliberate. Tap I've prayed on the block screen or on the notification, and everything returns.
I want to start over
You can clear your guarded apps and schedules from the My Apps screen at any time. Deleting Sukoon removes the data stored on your device.

Before you write
The questions on the home page cover the ones we get most: whether Sukoon is free, why it needs Screen Time permission, whether it works if you are not Muslim, and which devices it runs on.
